Be sure to measure your fence / railing before choosing the hook size. We would always recommend a hook that will fit easily over the fence, you shouldn't choose a hook that might be too small as i wouldn't be easy to bend them by hand, even if it is a little big it shouldn't affect the look or strength. Because of the round angle of the hook your fence will just fit into the gap. Obviously try and choose the closest size that is available.
2,3,4 ft planters come with 2 hooks.
5ft planters come with 3 hooks.
If you choose the one layer option the internal height is 10cm and the internal width is 15cm. The external height is 12cm and the external width is approx 20.5cm.
If you choose the two layer option the internal height is 22cm and the internal width is 15cm. The external height is 24cm and the external width is approx 20.5cm.
These hooks are made from zinc plated steel and are very strong. You simply need to slide the hooks in to the drilled holes and then use the wing nuts provided to fasten them to the planter. You can also adjust the height a little up and down if you want the planter to sit lower on the fence, the amount varies on the size of the hooks you choose.

Hand-Made in the UK from our own workshop using external screws for extra strength and to stop any rust showing.
These pots are made from treated decking boards, treated with Tanalith E which are 10 years rot and algae resistant.
